Self-Drilling Bolt (Ibo Bolt) systems, offered by Ay-Yıldız Engineering, are modern anchoring solutions developed to provide fast, safe, and effective reinforcement in challenging ground conditions. The system consists of specially designed hollow bolts with a grooved outer surface and bits that perform the drilling process. This structure allows drilling, anchoring, and grouting to be completed in a single step.
The hollow bolts allow for the free passage of water and air during drilling, facilitating the removal of debris. Once drilling is complete, injection proceeds directly, reducing application time. The grout flows through the bolt, completely filling both the bolt perimeter and the gaps between the ground and the bolt. The system, combined with the bearing plate, anchor head, and couplings connecting the bolts, enables high strength and the desired anchor length.
