Ay-Yıldız Engineering Rock Bolt systems provide reliable anchoring solutions by threading ribbed reinforcing bars according to project requirements. Threading can be applied to ribbed steel bars ranging from 8 mm to 40 mm, enabling fast and practical installation in various underground, infrastructure and superstructure applications. Rock bolts are widely used in tunnels, ground nailing, structural column connections and other geotechnical applications.

The hollow, continuously threaded anchor bars used by Ay-Yıldız Engineering are cold-rolled and designed for efficient injection anchoring in unstable ground conditions. Since the anchor bar functions like a drill rod during drilling, the system allows true self-drilling capability. Couplings make it possible to join bars easily and adjust the anchor length based on the project’s structural needs.

By using a rotary injection head, drilling and grouting are performed in a single step. Once the borehole is filled with grout, a plate and nut are installed on the anchor head, and the system is tensioned with a torque wrench or hydraulic jack for secure and durable anchorage.
