Ay-Yıldız Engineering provides high-strength cage and profile support systems manufactured from NPI, NPU, HEA and HEB steel profiles to ensure safe and stable progress in tunnel construction projects. These systems are produced in accordance with project requirements and are widely used in highway tunnels, metro lines, water structures and dam tunnels.
With a team of specialized engineers and technicians, Ay-Yıldız Engineering has the capability to serve construction sites across the country. All machinery and equipment are deployed directly to the project area, allowing on-site fabrication. This approach minimizes delays, provides rapid adaptation to field conditions and ensures efficient progress throughout the project.
Profile materials prepared at the construction site are shaped using dedicated bending machines according to the required curvature values. This precision bending process enables the supports to align perfectly with the tunnel geometry, greatly simplifying installation.
Once bending is completed, the support elements are transferred to assembly benches for angle cutting, flange attachment and welding of stiffener plates. Special jig systems are used during welding to ensure proper alignment of flange holes, equal spacing of stiffeners and preservation of structural geometry. This method significantly facilitates level and alignment adjustments during tunnel installation.
